SPACECRAFT
Spacecraft is an exploration and dialogue about one’s relationship with their space. The area, the amount and type of space, be it walled, open, confined, crowded, expansive or polluted, has an impact on human behaviour, thought and body language which I intend to bring out through this piece.
Choreographed by Ayesha Hassanwalia for Chrysalis, semi-residency at Contemporary Arts Week, 2015. Performed at LTG Auditorium.
Dancers - Shambhavi Sharma, Revati Khattar, Omy Ronshwal, Dev Adhikari and Amulya Shastri

QUENCH
A choreography to bring out the politics of water in the world, and our fundamental failure at understanding its value. The piece being quite self explanatory depicts 3 innocents battling with the lack of water and how this basic need can even change a relationship that pure and true. Drinking water is a basic need and the lack of it a serious and fatal problem. Something must be done..
Performed at the NYU Water Week, 2014
Presented by UNICEF@NYU
Choreography: Ayesha Hassanwalia
Dancers: Anjelina Jenuwein, Kamakshi Saxena and Ayesha Hassanwalia
Not possible without the incredible Nicole Javanna Johnson.

I, Quantum Leap
The system and I - an inevitable conundrum. I, Quantum Leap seeks to present the confining and restricting nature of the system we all have an intimate relationship with, which in turn discourages or destroys any semblance of individuality or creativity we may possess. This piece encourages us all to embrace who we truly are, even the most unflattering part of ourselves, with strength and endurance so we may slowly change the system to be more all encompassing and less rigid.
We present to you, our true selves.
Choreography: Ayesha Hassanwalia
